Jug Rock/Salt Wash, Part 3: to Jug Rock

After a pleasant stay on the muffin ridge (Part 2 gallery) I headed off cross-country toward Jug Rock, making a stop at a stream gorge. This part of the hike was "detour city" because of all the twists and turns I made to avoid cryptobiotic soil. Once i reached a wash, the walking was more casual.
