Culvert Canyon's namesake

Culvert Canyon (near Moab, Utah)

This view looks downstream at Culvert Canyon’s namesake. The hill is a railroad fill supporting the track of Union Pacific’s Cane Creek Branch.
Most of the time the streambed is dry.

My vantage point was the center of this WikiMapia aerial view.

Larry, how can you see the coast from here---it's over a thousand miles away? Besides, clear weather at the coast does not mean clear weather here. Indeed, I got rained on late in the afternoon.

Dave, the coast looks clear. Why were you going through that tunnel? Were you on a mission you can't discuss yet?
