Terrain "below and above"

San Rafael Reef, Utah

The terrain was "below" because the closest portion was about 100 feet below this spot. The
terrain was "above" because it extended vertically high above my position. It was an enticing
but inaccessible landscape. I was forced to traverse right, then descend into a valley.
