Mountain mahogany above and Mormon tea below

San Rafael Reef, Utah

Mountain mahogany (Cercocarpus sp.) and Mormon tea (Ephedra viridis) were the two
most prevalent bushes on the reef. The bamboo stick is one inch (2.5cm) thick.
