Colorful rock bench

Colorado River, below Shafer Trail, Utah

The river is flowing from left to right, which is northward. About a quarter of
a mile (0.4km) behind the shadowy cliff (the east side of The Gooseneck) it is
flowing south, having gone around the north end of The Gooseneck.
