Viewpoint: Say, isn't that sandstone?

Gooseneck viewpoint on Shafer Trail, Utah

At the Gooseneck viewpoint (my name for the place), one looks south at The Gooseneck
and north at this. Shafer Trail runs left to right along the base of the cliff. Backing
up ten steps would have put me in the Colorado River, 400 feet (130m) below.
