I deliberately left evidence of image rotation to show the affect of another
magnetic anomaly. (See http://www.pbase.com/listorama/image/60008632 .) Had
there been a normal amount of magnetism here when I passed by, the landscape
would have stayed level and my picture would not have required severe rotation.
I am continually amazed by the forces of nature...

The vertical cliff at right is the result of blasting
to create the gently-descending railroad grade.
