Second (middle) picture in a "panorama," looking about east. The Colorado River flows from left to
right here, but it's out of view. The river is just behind and about 300 feet (90m) below the
gently-tilting greenish slope. The dirt road on the right is on a plateau on the far side of the river.

At the left end of the blue pond is a slanted berm acting as an access road for machinery used
