A BASE jumper free-falls from the top of a huge sandstone fin called "The Tombstone," with the intention of landing on the road below. His shadow is visible on the face of the fin. I was half a mile (0.8 km) away, in a parking lot. Another jumper went airborne a few minutes earlier, which alerted me to the activity. I was ready with camera for this jumper.
