Photo taken in August 2013. The Green River Trail is at the top of the ramp, atop the Briscoe Levee. This scene changed drastically in 2014 when the levee was re-built. All the stately cottonwoods are gone, removed to eliminate the chance that uprooted trees would damage the levee. The ramp is gone too, as is the parking lot next to it. They were replaced by an inclined parking lot that acts as a ramp. This perspective cannot be repeated because it is buried under dirt and asphalt. The trail was widened. A flood wall was erected atop the levee.
Photographed during an examination of trail access points.
