In October 2013 we got rid of several unused blankets. The one on top here is the most memorable of them because it dates to 1972 and maybe earlier. My wife had it when I met her in 1972. She had received it from her mother.

It saw service in Mainz-Kastel (across the river from Mainz and where I first saw it), Seattle for almost three years, then in Renton for 33 years. The same day I took this picture, my wife donated the blankets to the Humane Society in Bellevue, Washington.
