Artwork known as "Daily Migration"

Green River Trail view map

“Daily Migration” is artwork created by Cheryl dos Remédios. It is a set of five goose sculptures that are meant to be seen while passing in a train. When seen in rapid succession the geese appear to be in flight. The art is in Kent, Washington, south of South 259th Street, situated between 80th Avenue South and the tracks of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway. Thanks to Victoria Andrews of the City of Kent for identifying the artist.

I took this picture from the Green River Trail. My vantage point was at the center of this WikiMapia aerial view and I was looking northeast. (In August 2013 that aerial imagery was a little out of date---it failed to show the new paved trail running parallel to 80th Avenue South.)

Photographed with my iPhone while seated on my recumbent trike.
