Drill Boy, ready to go to work

Crater Island, Utah (26 mi./ 42 km northeast of Wendover)

With portable drill in hand, I am ready to assemble the hiking handcart.
Let the driving of screws begin!

Handcart components are: the large shallow box at front, the three stacked tires (one is a spare), the box in front of the tires (to which I will attach the axle), and the pieces of wood (handles) to the right of the tires. The small brown boxes contain the hardware for the cart.

Other things on the tarp are: a black bag holding my tent, an orange bag holding my sleeping pad, a dark blue bag holding my sleeping bag, and two equipment storage boxes (in front of me) from the mini-van. and bricks holding down the corners of the tarp.

Ralph Tripod, who was holding my camera for this photo,
never needs a tarp or a drill.

other sizes: small medium large original auto
