Looking south on the trail in Tukwila, just east of the Costco gas station.
My vantage point was at the center of this WikiMapia aerial view.
Up ahead is my trike, parked while I performed some trail maintenance. The pretty flowers at right harbored several blackberry vines, some of which intruded onto the trail. The vines were thick, with big thorns---not good for tires or legs. They ended up in a pile beside the trail, where they could do no damage. I had brought pruning shears and leather gloves, knowing that I might run into some vines. I took this picture after I had cut back the evil vines and put them in a pile out of view to the left.
