I love this paper tape. It isn't real strong because it lacks re-inforcing fibers, but it's terrific for covering existing labels and printed logos on a box. It's perfect for packaging a box being sent by registered mail. It must be moistened to activate the glue: my method is to drag the tape across a water-laden sponge sitting on a dinner plate. This is NOT the type with re-inforcing fibers.
When I uploaded this photo I was almost out of tape and asked for help in finding a source, hence the comments. Amazon.com sells it.
We just love this stuff at the post office.
We rip it off and key it to the original address.
Kidding--we respect the addressee's intentions
and forward it or return to sender--address
unknown.
I get this in Artist supply shops, I ask for Passepartout and they know what I want.
I have no idea if that is the correct spelling, or even description, but they always have it.
