This is my home-made case for protecting a netbook computer during road trips. It's made of a Sterilite plastic box ($5 plus tax), plastic cushioning material (pack rat supplies), and duct tape (on hand). Compared to commercial laptop cases, this one does not scream "computer inside!" The box measures 12in x 14in x 3 in (30cm x 36cm x 8cm).
