It is one thing to practice sacred mimicry to advance one's spiritual destiny.
It is quite another to pretend to be doing it, as is the case here. Looking at this disgraceful
scene brings troubling words to mind, words like "phony," "sham," "bogus," "fake," and "immoral."
Maybe even "illegal." I reported this grievous breach of ethics to the rangers at the park's
visitors' center but have yet to hear of any disciplinary action. Maybe the new administration
in Washington (today is January 22, 2009) will give this matter the attention it deserves.
