Guess it would make your travel to work very difficult! It's so good that Europe is so much more relaxed. I seem to remember a customs border between Denmark and Germany 20 years ago. Is that still there?

a harrowing scene...I remember the harsh border enroute by train to Berlin...stranded in a fenced off no-man`s-land...police with dogs and mirrors on poles checking out the undercarriages...unfriendly passport officers surging through the train cars...good to see they are now wrapped in plastic and resigned to a retrospective view...excellent reportage...V
