Siberian Stonechat at UP-Diliman!

This university campus is starting to gain a reputation of hosting exotic bird species - got the Siberian Stonechat here today (November 20th) after two days of searching
and wading through rice paddy mud. This species was just recently added to the Philippine bird list and was not included yet in the Kennedy Guide (published year 2000).

Thanks to Prof. Gerry de Villa for discovering the individual bird and sharing its location. His digiscoped photos of the bird are the first I've seen taken in the Philippines.
This species has now become my 248th lifer...:)
