Female Indigo-banded Kingfisher

I already got many detailed photos of the male IBKF, but it was only yesterday when i finally nailed the better half of this beautiful, endemic kingfisher at Tiaong, Quezon.
My standard technique for photos of this species in dark habitat is to use super slow shutter speeds to expose the subject well without the use of artificial lighting.

Habitat - Uncommon, restricted to clear fresh water streams up to at least 1500 m.

Scientific name - Cyornis rufigastra blythi (endemic race)

Habitat - Disturbed forest, early second growth and in the lowlands.
