Just made a quickie sortie to this favorite mudflats to scout current accessibility. Light was already harsh when I arrived in mid-morning, and thankfully the guards allowed me entry.
The water birds are already there in full force.... one of these days, when the low tide coincides with first light, I'll be back. Here are a few snapshots from today.
