Masinloc Fantail

Pied Fantails are tough to shoot - their black and white plumage is an exposure challenge. Their endless movements, often under the canopy where light is a scarce commodity, require the use of faster shutter speeds. Low light + constant subject motion + hand holding = sure recipe for blurred shots. Once in a while, however, things go as planned and some usable shots are captured. This was one of those moments, and the hand held 20D + wide open 400 5.6L delivers.
