Masinloc Plain Martin Encore

Taking advantage of the intermittent sunshine (interspersed with light drizzles), I went back today (August 16th) to the mountain road leading to Coto Mines to try to capture the uncommon Plain Martin in better light.

They were still there, perched on an old, unused hanging bridge cable. But I only managed to get a few shots before the roar of a mining truck drove them away. I waited for two hours but they didn't return. Some pics of the Spotted Dove, an immature Black-naped Monarch and my first Brown Shrike of the season made up for the interrupted photo session with the Plain Martins.
