Luzon Hornbills at Subic

Fatbirder's Top 1000 Birding Websites

A slight drizzle, followed by sunshine trying to force its way through thick overcast, provided the right conditions for six Luzon Hornbills to pose for a photo session for me at Subic rainforest. The studio of their choice is a distant tree downslope from my position atop a ridge, about 90 meters away. The Sigmonster, at 800 and 1600 mm (with a Sigma 2x TC), had a a party at the largest congregation of Hornbills I ever saw...;-)
