Well, look at that! Though very common in our country, because the larvae feed on camote (sweet potatoe) leaves, the white spots that turn blue under the sun is what makes this common butterfly extra-ordinary. This is the male Hypolimnas bolina showing off its irridescent features. It is basking under the sun.
