There's a light rain intermittently showering Metro Manila today (Saturday, September 1st), but this didn't stop me from trying out the 40D at birds.
I hied off to the Coastal Lagoon (Manila Bay) to check out the migrants... not many of them have arrived yet, just a couple of Common Sandpipers in the distant shore.
Too few birds in flight either, no acid test for the 40D's AI servo for now. Fortunately, there's a Little Heron that was fishing nearby, so I was able to bring home at least some 40D bird photos, flat light notwithstanding.
