Spotted Imperial-Pigeon at Coastal Lagoon

I've been looking for this endemic forest pigeon in many places for a long time, with no luck. Imagine my surprise when
an odd-looking bird I captured in flight over the Coastal Lagoon (Manila Bay) turned out to be the uncommon Spotted Imperial-Pigeon!
This is supposed to be a forest bird, so I'd speculate that it was in transit, perhaps doing a local migration from one forested area to another.
From its west-to-east flight direction, I'd guess that it came from Mt. Palay-palay in Cavite and probably en route to the Sierra Madre mountains.
This bird becomes my 272nd photo-lifebird (and the 69th endemic at that).
