Well, after a long wait, my new Sigma 300-800 DG, a monster lens weighing almost 13 lbs and more than 2 feet in length, finally arrived. I immediately went to Candaba Swamp, my favorite wetlands, to try it out. Got a lifer too - the shy and not often seen Plain Bush-Hen ...;-)
Candaba wetlands: The 300D + Sigma 300-800 DG is my fixed heavy artillery, while the 20D + 400 5.6L is always ready to shoot fliers.
