A Juvenile Common Kingfisher at Candaba

The wind was blowing like crazy in the afternoon of this January 17th visit at Candaba wetlands, and that's perhaps the reason why there are not
as many birds as I'm accustomed to. I managed to get close to an immature Common Kingfisher - the first young of this species that I've seen in the field.
It was perched in dense brush and I couldn't get a clean shot, but it's a welcome consolation for the sortie nonetheless.
