In my first sortie of the new year, I made a quick trip to Candaba to check if the birds were affected at all by the firecracker explosions the night before. Looks like avian life
is normal in the wetlands, though the skies were overcast, making good flight shots difficult. Some captures of an Eastern Marsh-Harrier saved what would have been an uneventful trip.
