They really like raisins as a treat.

I am some what new to bird watching but I believe this is the bird that visits the front of my apartment several times a day with a distinctive "chirp" which I can almost mimic. It responds to my chirp and yesterday landed on my window sill as if looking for the source of the chirp. There is an evergreen below my window where it feeds on the berries. I have not been able to get a picture as yet but enjoy exchanging chirps with it.

My backyard Catbird has become quite tame. Flies into my kitchen through the open back door and plucks cherries off the kitchen counter., then leaves.

I think one is driving me crazy. It dives at our bedroom window every morning at sunrise. Then comes to our front window I don't know why. Anyone understand this behavior or it it just a crazy bird?!

I don't know where my Grey Catbird lives, but I have a Mulberry Bush and they are there everyday eating the berries. They are so beautiful, but then again, anyone who knows me, knows how I love wild birds.

One has built a nest in a holly tree next to my deck. She is not a happy girl. I think she built this nest while I was on vacation and now there is alot more traffic, cat and people, than last week. She has laid 4 eggs so I guess she hasn't given up yet.

obnoxious call but a cool bird! like a poor mans mockingbird...
at patapsco state park saw two tag team annoy the heck out of two owls fighting over a squirrel - it was like something out of mutual of omaha's wild kingdom!

I had a nest in the backyard next to my pool. The birds would sit on the fence next to me and call. They seem to love the mini birdbath.

We have a bunch here in Millersville. I love them, they are freindly and seem to like humans.

just discovered a nest in our patio lilac this year. last year, a nest in a small snowbell tree produced 4 offspring. both parents closely guarded it from wires across the street; dive bombed both my husband & myself when we got close. my hair was snatched many times even though I pointed out to them that they have free rent! : )

I love these birds! The first time I saw one was last year in my neighbor's tree where they had a nest which I could see from my window upstairs. I don't think those babies survived though. And then this year a couple built a nest in my back yard lilac bush. The baby survived and I am happy about that. One of the birds has been banded around his ankles. I was wondering if you knew anything about that. Thank you!
