13th September 2007 - wet

I’ve had a shot like this in mind for ages now but haven’t been able to execute it because of a decidedly unphotogenic bathroom floor at home! (It’s still bare floorboards, waiting for us to finish off the decoration of the room and we’re waiting on professional help with some bits of it.)

So, frankly with no other options in sight today, I decided to do it (and badly relative to what I’d have done with a proper camera and a tripod) but it was, as I’ve already said, my only option.

I’m in an hotel which is so swanky that I personally find it close on obscene. As always, the food is pretty dire for us veggies but at least it was up the scale from some I suppose.

My room is roughly twice the size of the whole footprint of our home!!!

The hotel has a big car park, which is full of Beemers and Mercs but at the front entrance to the hotel itself there are half a dozen parking bays and there is a million quid’s worth if cars parked there as I type. A couple of Aston Martins, a couple of ‘footballers Bentleys’, a Roller and two S-Class Mercs!

Personally, I’d prefer a bit less ‘swank’ but that’s just me – I don’t like money spent just for the sake of it. That hasn’t stopped me from lying in a huge, roll top, free-standing bath watching the telly though!

Last year - wow - peppers!

Sounds pretty good to me,must say I prefer guest houses,I don't suppose you have a choice in the matter.
Could you prise up a couple of those 'Blue Peter' tiles for me?
I never managed to get a badge.
