David and I both had sleepless nights last night worrying about our problem so we were both relieved this morning to take the advice of experts and discover that we could not possibly do any more than we have to remedy the situation – three experts all confirmed this to us by phone.
David has been as sweet as a sweet thing and his observations about my posting yesterday are that there may be a huge, solid granite wall in our way at the moment but that walls can be taken down, stone by stone or brick by brick. They can be moved out of our way, however slowly and however much work it takes.
So, I’ve decided, unlike my tree which is weeping resin from the pruning we did last week, that I will not weep any more. We’ve done our best and if that’s not good enough then the people affected have other options for their world. We can do no more. We are still devastated to have caused them problems but we can’t continue to cry over it.
Onwards and upwards as they say.
Last year, I thought I was being witty with my photo!
