We had to pop to town at lunchtime today to deliver some paperwork to a solicitor.
On the way back we were treated to this spectacular rainbow lighting up the sky. We were chasing it in the car, each time we thought we’d got to its end, we realised it had moved a bit further away. Eventually we realised we’d never catch it, it would always be just out of reach.
It’s a bit like life really – you chase after your dreams and then you realise you’ll never attain them.
The blot on this beautiful, idyllic landscape is a huge factory farm where hens are kept in appalling conditions to provide eggs to people who don’t give a shit about the consequences of their actions. Don’t eat battery farm eggs – it’s simple, if it doesn’t say ‘free-range’ on the box, the eggs inside aren’t. Don’t be fooled by ‘barn-laid’, they’re NOT free-range. We know one or two little feathered escapees from this dreadful place – but we’re not telling how!!!!
Last year I was unlocking something stranger than fiction and two years ago, I was in Argentina Square in Roma.
