the photo they tried to ban

I lost a couple of days holiday two weeks ago because I was so busy at work that I had to delay the start of my break. (Nice position to be in but also very annoying.) I am lucky enough to take the first one of those days today.

I saw this amazing display of fantastic masks in a shop window while ambling about and whipped out my camera to photograph it, not seeing the small, hand-written sign saying 'no foto' at the bottom of the display. I was chased off by an angry shopkeeper then David goaded me on to go back and take the picture because, as he said, I was in a public space and there are no laws against taking pictures in a public space.

So here it is......a very naughty picture of a beautiful display that I thought the world should see. Was I wrong?

BTW - notice the cruise ship in the reflection!

Two years late, but I've just seen this! - had the same experience in Greenwich market last weekend, and was too feeble to stick up for myself! :)
