I've been arranging a party today at the Kensington Roof Gardens where these exotic and lovely creatures live. It's a truly amazing place. It's in the heart of London and on the seventh floor of a building yet there is a river complete with ducks and flamingoes, fully grown trees 30-40 feet high and a vast array of plants. It's so strange to enter off a busy street, go up in a lift, then come out into this oasis of tranquillity and calm high above the hustle and bustle of London life. It is fully enclosed by a high wall so you're not even aware of buses, taxis and hoards of people below.
