poppy with love to my folks!

Happy Anniversary Mum & Dad.

I'm beginning to think I'm obsessed by poppies as these are the second ones to appear in a few days on my diary. In fact, I'd planned to show a pic of a REALLY gross woman walking down the street in shorts and a crop top with her fat belly hanging between shorts and top. It would have served as commentary on how the sun brings out the worst in people as well as summing up a grizzly day for me.

However I've spared you all from that because when I saw the pic it was just too repulsive to go onto a site like this.....and I was worried about getting sued!

So, here we have some oriental poppies that I planted about 5-6 years ago. I do so love the huge saucers of delicate petals with those hairy stamens fluttering about in the breeze. What bee could resist such voluptuous charm?

Have I copped out from the more truthful pic? Yep, I'm afraid so. My parents taught me the value of truth and integrity but they always despised cruelty so, as today is their 45th wedding anniversary I thought I'd send them a floral tribute.

I'll try to be more brave hearted tomorrow.

Chris

I'm so glad you like my diary. I have really tried to be faithful to my views and opinions and to post stuff that I'll be proud of in the future. I have had a look at your galleries too - beautiful photos - and the one of York brings back many happy memories for me as I used to spend a great deal of time there in my last job. I hope you enjoy coming up to date - there are a few tearjerkers in there! Also, you'll be interested to see that Harpenden is in my circle too!

Hello again. I have completed the housework and have returned to your diary. I feel it is like a good book that is difficult to put down. What you have to say is so open and sincere, I just love it. I look forward to continuing as soon as I can after I collect my wife from St Albans. Thank you.
