Don’t mind if I do!
We’ve been out for a celebratory meal – celebrating our wedding anniversary and my new job. We’ve pushed the boat out and gone out of town to a lovely canal-side pub. It’s a bit more expensive (though not much) and a whole lot nicer than the in-town pubs for a meal. It’s a fab location at the bottom of the Tardebigge lock flight and so there are always lots of people on narrow boats either thrilled to have navigated the flight or daunted at the start of their journey. Most of all though, walking into the toilets and seeing this sight is just the best feeling. I wonder who decided to do this. Whoever they were, it was sheer genius!
By chance, I’d taped the film a few days ago and we’d not yet got round to watching it, although we’ve both seen it many times before. It’s one of those films to savour, isn’t it?
Since I took this pic, we’ve got round to seeing it and then the very next day, we discover that Robert Redford has hung up his acting boots. The end of an era.
