TTID
Anyone who has been around here before will know I’m a die-hard Spurs fan. We have all of the rituals – lucky clothes, mugs, activities. We don’t get to go to every game like we did when we were season ticket holders but since we’ve been back upcountry we do get to go to quite a few games.
Over the forty-odd years since, as a sixteen year old girl went to her first game with her first love, there have been highs, lows, happiness, tears, strange events but most of all there has been an undying love (no, not the boyfriend – he disappeared out of my life a long, long time ago). He may be responsible for my lifelong love of Tottenham Hotspur FC but for most of those years it’s been on my terms. I’ve had season tickets in two separate timeframes – the late 70s and again in the noughties, I own shares and I go whenever I can.
Tonight is a sitting-on-the-sofa-yelling-at-the-telly night. (Too far to go on a school night.)
COYS (in other words Come On You Spurs)
TTID (Tottenham ‘til I Die)
Tonight is a big game and we need the win…don’t let me down!
