One of my biggest bugbears with Canon cameras is the horrible grain on high isos. This was shot without flash (even though there are flash-like shadows on the image, these are from the overhead lights in the restaurant)in low light and the grain looks quite good to me...maybe I'm just lowering my standards but it looks better.
One of the problems with upping sticks and moving on is that we are once again completely friendless in our new location so when Gary phoned and asked if he could come and see us for the day we readily and gladly agreed. We've spent the day chewing the fat on all sorts of diverse subjects, including kit houses, friendship, children, speaker cables and food. On the latter subject, we decided to sample some Tex-Mex in a local bar, where this image was shot.
As an added bonus to the good company and food, I got to ride in the most posh car I've ever been in.
