OK – I know this is a totally crap photo of my fabby new car…all I can say is it’s probably better than the photos of many cars that get sold online, either on ebay or autotrader. In my, albeit rather weak, defence, it was shot in a tearing hurry when arriving at the wedding of one of my trainee teacher friends from last year. Sinead M married Sam and we went along to the reception. We got the chance to see Sinead, who was positively radiant with happiness. That makes me happy. We also got the chance to spend time with Maria, another great friend from the same course – the three of us, along with another 4-5 were the geeky ones that were outside the main friendship groups but I stand by my views that we formed a fabulous bond and we are all still “friends” even if we don’t spend any real time together any more. So, what I want to know is this – do I embellish my stylish though rather boring car with flowers and bees like I did with the Sunshine Bus? On the one hand, you could argue that to do so, while a bit anarchic with a Renault would be positively disrespectful with a Merc, on the other hand, the Merc is bloody dull – its colour isn’t one I’d have chosen and I think it’d look grand with white flowers and bees in a big swirling mass down the side. What do you think? Answers on a metaphorical postcard please.
