Only three days ago there was no garden at David's house in Ascot. A bit of money and a lot of blood, sweat and tears have produced something rather lovely. I popped over to the house today to do the horrible domestic chore of retrieving the wheelie bin after the council's rubbish collection this morning and my heart and spirits were lifted by this sight.

It's amazing how a few plants can transform an otherwise gloomy place.
