It’s the end of the month. We’re down to the dregs in our fridge. This one tomato and half a bag of spinach is all that’s left, so it’s got to be spinach, tomato and cheese risotto. Is it just me or do other people sometimes have that depressing moment when they pull open the fridge door and they’re faced with half a mouldy pepper and some shrivelled up mushrooms? It’s made worse by the fact that egg production has gone down in home – only one hen is laying so we can’t even do frittata.
It’s a good job we’re being fed tomorrow!
