We’ve been on a trip to Plymouth today, necessitated by my washing machine deciding to eat my only bra. (I know, I know, you couldn’t make it up.) To save my blushes for the coming weeks, we had to replace said machine fodder.

After a trip to M&S to do the deal, we wandered down into the Barbican to find the place thronging with people attending the Barbican marine and seafood festival. The weather was gorgeous and the atmosphere carnival-like. We think the festival was the reason for this tall ship to be here.

I’ve struggled to maintain my PAD of late, even though posting this brings me right back up to date. That’s partly a reaction to spending all day every working day in a lightless room staring at a computer and partly due to finding myself at the bottom of a dark pit with nothing more than a big black dog for company. I’m sorry to have been ignoring/avoiding my friends and hope you won’t hold it against me.
