Rainbows on screen never look as good as they do in the flesh and this double rainbow looked amazing when I was standing in the road outside our house shooting this photo. All I can say is that I think the end of it must be just about over my young PGCE friend Eryn’s house judging by where it disappears from view. I hope she’s got a crock of gold there!

It’s the end of another week and I got my end-of-placement report, which is fantastic so I AM going to be a teacher…well, that’s if I can ever persuade a school to give me a job. Supermarket checkout here I come! Still, on the bright side, it’ll take me about a hundred years to pay off my huge student loan on a checkout girl’s wages. I doubt if I’ll even qualify to start the payment process.

I still love the fact that I stand in front of a class, show them how to do something that has hitherto been alien to them and then when I mark their work I realise they understood what I’d taught and acted on it. Today I have had my heart swollen with pride at their play scripts that we’ve been working on all week.

DM and I discussed rainbow photos and I said that I was going to shoot this and post it to pbase, even if I wasn’t satisfied with that!
