I’m stuck for a photo. It’s late. I’ve had a quite bad day and a shockingly bad evening and I’m stumped. So, you get the slipper shot. Sorry. Forgive me if I’m wrong – I don’t think I’ve done a slipper shot before. DM has done several when he’s short on inspiration.

I needed new slippers. I couldn’t afford posh ones like his so I bought these Marks and Sparks ones. I LOVE them. In the modern vernacular – what’s not to like? Barbie pink, flowers, bows and polka dots – I rest my case.

Now it’s time for the bed rest – there is a lot of career hanging in the balance tomorrow. I keep thinking that sooner or later it’ll come right – but it hasn’t so far. Will tomorrow be a nail in either my heart or my coffin or will it be the turning point? Only time will tell.
