14th January 2014 - recapture

You may have noticed that I’ve been a bit “flat” of late. I sort of lost my mojo a while back and I’ve been struggling to find it again. I’ve poked about under bushes, behind rocks and in the cupboard under the stairs and it’s nowhere to be seen. I’ve occasionally caught a glimpse of it as I’ve rummaged or seen its shadow passing my window. I even felt it brush past me in a corridor the other week. Lola and JD sometimes spot it and bark to let me know it’s around but I can never quite grab it. It's as slippery as a slippery thing and as elusive as a flying pig.

I’m working hard on a recapture. There is no trap I've not tried, no net that has holes small enough to make sure it can't escape again. I've tried bear pits and snares but nothing can hold it still enough for me to grab it and pop it back inside me. I’ve touched it with my fingertips and even, once or twice, had it in my hand but it’s always managed to slip through my fingers or bite me so I drop it. It may be that this time I’ve got it, I know it’s there. Perhaps this time I can hang onto it. We’ll see.

Perhaps you need a top-up of mojito. Seem close enough to mojo.

A marvelous image and an equally interesting commentary underneath!

I see the light shinning through! Nicely done!

Maybe since you are happily employed your Mojo will take a different form?

Mojo can be fickle thing. And nothing stays the same. I think a new mojo is in the wings.

Have you tried a mojo filter?
