I am working at such a flat-out pace at the moment that things here at home have been getting sorely neglected. Although I know this in my heart, I am quite good at blocking it all out so it doesn’t bother me too much because I don’t think about it. Today I went into the garden and noticed this – one of our garden chairs that’s so covered in lichen that I’m sure it’d be horrible to sit on and that’s if you can fight your way to it through the grass that has remained un-mown all year.

So, I must face up to the fact that the rat’s nest is even more of one now that I have given up any semblance of trying to keep the decay from happening.
