It’s the fifteenth of June, a mere week away from the longest day and it’s bloody cold. The temperature here has not risen above 12⁰C today. When we had guests this evening, we decided that it wouldn’t be kind to make them sit in the cold so we decided to light the fire for the evening.

So, this is not a remarkable shot, nor, in its place would it be considered unusual but its place is November…or January…or even April I’d accept, but June? Nope, it’s not right and I won’t have it.

Someone send me some new weather – I don’t like the weather we’ve got!
