I'm not very good at shopping - supposedly surprising for a girl. I particularly hate buying shoes. I always want to buy kitten heels with pointy toes and sequins & bows in bright colours but of course these aren't practical for running for the train in. Today I bought these sensible shoes from Clarks. I loved their ad campaign last year for 'New Shoes', it was such fun. As you may have also noticed my shins and feet are covered in scratches. This is because I am totally accident prone - always getting cut, bruised or scratched, seemingly without cause - my Mum always describes me as an accident waiting to happen. I think the accidents happen to me without me even noticing half the time!

BTW - Mum: yes my shoes are on the sofa but I'm 42 years old and it's MY sofa so stop complaining!
